BGMI is coming back to India: 5 things to know

-Krafton has confirmed that Battlegrounds Mobile India is returning to India. The company has announced that BGMI will soon be available for download.

-While Krafton hasn’t revealed the exact India launch date of BGMI, the game is tipped to make a comeback on June 18. If this is true, then the official announcement for the availability of BGMI could happen soon because June is just a few weeks away.

-Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of India, has confirmed on Twitter that the BGMI game will first be available for 3 months. He revealed that Krafton had received a green signal for the game because it complied with issues of server locations and data security that the Indian government had. During this period, the Indian authorities will keep a close watch on BGMI, which will be in regard to addiction and its effects on users. If the game violates any of the rules that might have been set by the government, then it could be banned again.

-Back in March, it was reported that Krafton would make some changes to the game and that it has assured the Indian government that the BGMI game won’t have blood and its colour will be changed. Earlier, Battlegrounds Mobile India offered an option to change the colour of blood from red to blue or green. The latest version will reportedly enable this by default. But, there is no official confirmation on this.

-Krafton is also said to put a time limit on the game. One won’t be able to engage with BGMI in India for 24 hours as there will be some restrictions on hours of playing, as per reports.

-The government has reportedly asked the company to make some more changes, so that people don’t get addicted to the game and we don’t see reports of suicides. More details regarding the game are expected to be revealed soon.
